Winter gardening can help you stay healthy and save money. Most of the gardening posts on this blog during the cooler months will address winter gardening, but this page highlights a few basics.
You can also check my archive of winter gardening for many, many more posts.
This page has the following sub pages.
My husband and I are living as sustainably as we can in metro-NY Connecticut, always seeking more and better ways to do so. Looking forward to checking out your posts/articles!
I have a blog as well (http://audrey-peacehealth.blogspot.com/) about topics that inter-relate with striving for good health and peace, inside and out.
Thanks!
Audrey
Thank you. I really appreciate your list of the “best food” on your blog. I’ll look forward to visiting it more soon.
Well, today I looked around your blogsite and found interesting Audry under “Winter Gardening”. We women seem always trying to fix and make better. Sometimes it’s OK just as it is. How wonderful to have a life full of routine. Now that I am retired for a good long time, I long for routines so I don’t have to think what to do today. Actually my concern now is to find things to look forward to so I have reasons to keep busy, happy and alive.
Audrey, may I introduce you to Goldie? Goldie, may I introduce you to Audrey?
For me, gardening is a continual renewal of hope. For example, my veggie tunnels were buried under inches of ice and snow for almost 5 days. Imagine my joy when I cleared off the wintry mess and found living plants! I’ll be blogging about that soon, after I get back home.
Ozarkhomesteader and Audry: Hello from Goldie!!
I’ve been “out” with a cold for the past 3 days. Nothing serious – only a cold with a big renewal of hope. I have a lot of house plants – my gardening is all inside. I begin watching then carefully around this time of year for signs of growth. So far – nothing. I’ll shout when I see any new growth.
I’m sorry to hear about your cold. I’ve got one now too but hope it’ll pass quickly with lots of salt-water gargling. More hope!
My husband is in charge of the indoor plants here.
I’m sorry about yours too. I am much better now and even went out to supermarket for a new supply of oranges and lemons. Here, have a juicy orange.
Thank you!
